SHOVEL

quiet

here under the cover of night

take this and dig deep

beneath the amiable smiles

and the perfumed clothes

under the strong words

and the glistening silence

there

six feet down

is an ocean of tears

sometimes i ask myself kung deserving ba to have such fate in life. a lonely destiny to swim in one’s own ocean of tears.
